Veneers
Veneers are new facings for teeth which disguise a discoloured (rather than a damaged) tooth. Additionally, they can be used to correct the shape or misalignment of a tooth, for instance if you have a peg shaped tooth or if you would like to have your slightly crooked front teeth straightened without having t wear braces. To fit a veneer, the front surface of the tooth is taken away a little. An impression is taken and sent to the dental lab. The lab then manufactures a thin layer of porcelain which is fitted over the front of the tooth at a second appointment. |
